Hi all and thank you for your help.

Windows 10 Pro 64-bit, version 1709, OS Build 16299.125
WD My Book Live Duo NAS

I don't know when it has happened, but I cannot see my network devices in Win Explorer.
I have had a NAS for the past 4 yeas and could always access my files from Win Explorer.

I open up Win Explorer and none of my network devices show under "Devices and Drives" and previously it did. When I scroll down and click on "Network" my NAS shows under "Storage". But, when I click on it, it opens up the UI in my browser.

I have uninstalled my AV, disabled the firewall and now I still don't know. I have even rebooted the NAS.

From what I have read the last day or so is that it seems to be a Windows problem. I found many suggestions but non gave me access to my NAS. I can access it via "My Cloud" but don't want to since I know I can access it through Windows Explorer.

I will really appreciate any advice.

Change network profile from public to private

Bottom right of screen, click on network icon, network settings, click on current network, hit the button "Make my PC discoverable"

I take payment in coffee beans. 100g should suffice :p

Hi and thank you for your help.
I have just checked. Network is set as private and my PC is discoverable. Any other suggestions I can try?

Have you done a network reset?

Thank you for the help so far. I can now see & access my NAS but it looks as if I have guest access. I cannot see any folders of files of my backups and other files? Looks like authentication issue and I don't even where to begin looking. What will happen if I reset NAS to default settings?

The login details of my PC and NAS are exactly the same.

You could delete your credentials with Windows Credential manager and then re-enter them when you access your NAS.
