Windows Vista Beta 2

Is there anybody out there that can help me in getting a copy of the public Windows Vista Beta 2 that currently is available for download on Microsoft's website? I tried to download it, but my download just hangs after a few hours. I think that I have wasted almost 2 GB of my 3 GB cap in trying to download it. I know That I can order it, but it seems that I then will have to wait 4-6 weeks for delivery. I also contacted Microsoft in Johannesburg to try and get it directly from them, but they also do not have copies of it with them. Seems like the only way to get hold of it is to try the download again after a few days, or hope that someone who managed to download it succesfully will come to my recue!

Dude, im in countryview. Just north of vodaworld. How much will you charge me for a copy? :)
 
uuum nothing... u can donate me a blank dvd if u want ;) well i am going away tomorrow, and will be back on sunday. if you want, give me a shout...

on another topic. i am having problems installing vista :( seems to really not like my MB and the fact that i am trying to install it on a raid 0 array. any clues on how to get this right? i know the whole F6 thing in XP setup, and been thru that many times, but i just cant get the hang of it in Vista Setup. It doesnt seem to get to the part where it asks me for drivers, just tells me that it cant detect any, and tells me to try again :(

BTW MB is a Gigabyte Nforce4 ultra

Is it a free download on microsofts website?
and does anyone know if onelive care is out yet
 
It is a free download if you can get it to complete, and upon providing your details you get a cd key that allows you to install it on up to 10 computers. If you order it, it will cost you R117 and entitles you to also recieve the RC1 when that becomes available. This version will cease to operate July 2007. I just cannot get the download to complete, and have wasted a lot of my bandwith in trying to do so.
 
But is it going to be like the full vista or are a few things taken out like a demo?

I downloaded a 13.68Mb file and hen i mount it with alcohol it show 4Gbs is this Right

It's still a beta, so in other words, still not completed and there might still be bugs, AFAIK, beta 2 is pretty much feature complete, but like I said, there are probably still lots of bugs, and you won't get any support from microsoft if anything goes wrong.

Something must have gone wrong, the ISO is about 3.2GB

Microsoft uses that new fangled subatom particle bit packing technology of theirs where they manage to compress a 4GB DVD image into a mere 14MB :).
 
The thing is that i registered and they gave me a link but it sayes
Sorry, the Server failed to retrieve the requested data what should i do?
