Interesting!

As the article says - the mac version would be more expensive lol

Bloody brilliant! I'm in for a Windows one, but where's the drop-down menu to put it into scientific mode?

As with their computers, Mac users are deprived of basic features and have to settle for inferior ergonomics in the pursuit of styling and simplicity (and when I say simplicity, I really mean idiot proofing). Doesn't your average Mac user understand the concept of square root? Like Mac keyboards and mice, nice to look at, but not very useful in the real world.

Let's all chip in and buy this guy a Mac. :)

Explain that part about the mouse and keyboard.

I quite like the macs... I mean, neeever had a problem with them, and they are very simple... which makes it comforting... Keyboards and mice also work perfectly, and I used to use photoshop with them...

Where is the 7 version of the Windows calc? (It would just bring both of those calculators to their knees.)

Matlab and Octave bring ALL those calculators to their knees :D:D

They make more than one keyboard ;)

Really? For laptops?

And for desktop iMacs, does that mean you have to go and by another keyboard just to get a full complement of keys?

So run hackintosh on your pc or be happy with Windows/Linux and quit bitching.

For their laptops most of the keys you mentioned are already there or are easily catered for.

When you order your iMac from Apple you can choose what keyboard you want.

I really wish that worked on the AAO.

Clearly you have NEVER seen or used a MAC  Never has a PC been created that could rival MAC :p. Hardware Software ease of use functionality Apple leads the way. PC's & Windows has been playing catch up since the begining of time.

Get your hands on a MAC dude you will NEVER want to use a PC again :D

Yip, to bring your mac up to PC spec, you need to add R 3000+ to your Mac's price tag, because you need to get yourself: A copy of Windows, a decent keyboard, a decent mouse and a non-reflective cover for your glossy screen. And don't forget to upgrade your guarantee to 3 years. Then you can start comparing Macs to PCs.

I've seen and used Macs in the past, and briefly poked around the newish ones. It was loathing at first sight. But, if believing that Macs are superior to Beige box PCs helps you deal with the pain that Core caused you, go for it.:)
