Hi Guys,

could someone point me in a direction, i need assistance with a long range wifi connection between 2 branches, ( approx 4 km)

i need a tool to calculate the Line of sight ( how high, etc) could someone perhaps point me in the right direction?

Please don't use the WUG's LOS tool for commercial purposes. That's not what we built it for.

Download Radio Mobile, and use that instead.

Hi There,
Excluding the height issue for now. How about using Google and print out the map. Then use the scale on the map to give you the distance in a straight line. Measure it using a ruler.
I would then use other references to estimate the height difference and apply pythagoras to determine the hypotenuse.
Probably good enough to know what equipment you are going to need.

Regards

Tim

Hi Again,
If you don't like the measure with ruler then try this site.
It accepts references in degrees minutes seconds as well as decimal degrees.
