Wireless in EC

I may be moving out of PE to an area where helkom is not available (have not checked up on this yet but the guy I spoke to lives there so I guess he should know), so what would my options be, wireless? And who to use etc, anyone got any ideas. He mentioned aerosat, but I know they had some sort of legal problems...
