I have a microsoft wireless mouse and love it. Battries last 3-4 months and no lag.Get a cabled mouse:
No stupid batteries to charge, no silly reciever to plug in.and no lag issues.
If you still want a wireless mouse, maybe have a look at the logitech range? Microsoft also has a couple I think.
No it doesn't. You still end up playing 5 rounds of CoD, not 5,00001 rounds.^every little bit counts, time = money and those 0.000001 seconds add up eventually![]()
No...its all radio waves/infra red/electro magnetic waves. Its not *as* fast as light....but for lag purposes is so close that it doesn't matter.um, doesn't blue tooth run slower then speed of light?
Light will be slightly faster than the electrons going through the wire....but again, its so fast that it doesn't matter.but even if it was hitting the speed of light, wouldn't that be faster then the electron going to the pc?
Good point. I'd think Logitech would have kept that in mind when designing it though. Also, electronics can be mad fast. Just think of a CPU running at 4ghz. Thats a clock cycle every 0.00025 sec....and thats with a very complicated piece of tech. And doesn't the lag mainly come from the receiver and transmitter rather then the actual speed of the data(like the time the mouse takes to encode the info, then send it and then the receiver to decode and then send to pc)

Hell, the screen refresh rate is *way* more of a problem ito mouse lag.
Either way, I'd call BS on any lag claims with wireless mice. There is lag...but to claim that it is discernible to a human is BS unless its a defective mouse/interference.
All the parts of your post that I quoted were phrased as questions. I answered them to the best of my ability and wasn't trying to discredit you. Apologies if it sounded like that.Hey, before you discredit me, i'm not wrong, just didn't state all the parameters![]()
My advise: unless you are a VERY serious gamer, never consider a wired mouse, and NEVER consider anything else than Logitech.
Actually I prefer Microsoft hardware I have their wireless desktop and a wireless mouse for my lappy. I use to be a Logitech fanboi but the MS stuff is more comfortable and better priced.
