I bought the more expensive 300N wireless router modem to setup a network at home and it useless. I can barely get a signal in my bedroom. I dont know why. Not to mention my speed is useless. Is it because I have the Telkom 384k line which is pathetic? I just got Telkom Simple as I had to pay no connection fees.

Go read the manual of that router a bit to figure out how to do a WiFi survey at your house.
You might just find that there is other users in your area that also use the default frequency.
This is 99% of the time the problem.
Now change your freq to something that is open and not used by others and see which open freq gives you the best speed and range in your house.
Please also enable the security on your WiFi as the Telscum thingy is open by default, so anybody else can use your cap :)

P.S. Does your laptop or PC support the new N WiFi standard?

Kevalya, you dont have to START 20 topics to win the MyBB competition.....take it easy princess :p

Two-wall principle. If the signal needs to go through two walls, you will get no or weak signal.

if you dont come right, i believe netgear have some device that uses the electrical wiring in your house to repeat. You plug the devices into plug points in your house.

If it is not working yet then just contact the person from whom you have purchased modem their might be some problem it that itself.
