WISPs in Roodepoort?

Can any people from the West Rand commend on WISPs in Roodepoort?

My area Witportjie/Lindhaven does not have copper lines So no ADSL, has okay 3G, Neotel is lame, Iburst is too slow.

So I'm looking for an alternative that can supply uncapped/ unthrottled high speed internet possibly with has static IP address.

The problem is I see no advertisements for for WISPS in my area so I not even aware of any WISPs.

That map on their site is almost 2 years old. It will be interesting to see what their current coverage is.

I got a reply from them.
"As per our technicians, we have no wireless coverage in the Roodepoort
area."

I'm in Roodekrans, at first they said they could give me service from my GPS position, and then 2 days later said sorry no service.

Their pricing unfortunately is over the top. R3750 for home install, where other wisps charge R1000 to R1500
