And I don't believe he was 'trying to run them over'. He was probably trying to get around them/away from them etc... this 'he was trying to run us over' is a bs story, just a convenient excuse to act like savages. Anyone with half a brain can see that. If it was truly the case, we would have seen tons of videos of it within minutes of it happening and would be all over the news about some nutter white racist trying to run over and kill students. Reason video hasn't come up yet is it shows the truth, white man being attacked by children acting like savages, and when a video does arrive, it will be heavily edited

Blocking other students and lecturers from entering varsity
Running amok in streets
Burning tyres on entrances and public roads
Throwing bricks at cars
Turning a students car to rubble injuring him because he wanted to go home.

Sad that some idiots denegrade to such actions and Sad that such people have a privilege to study for higher education.

The video shows clearly he wanted to pass, they refused him. So he went back, revved his engine and charged through. They jumped out of the way to let him through.

At this stage, this is a general topic as 14 universities are protesting. I think one general thread can be made and then to keep the individual threads updated with campus updates. This is up to the mods to decide. I'm only mad to see how the youth is demanding a solution, a mass demonstration associated with violence, disruption and abusing other people’s rights are a not on with me.

Running amok? Show me tyre burning asseblief (at wits) and I didn't say they attack on the student was justified or that it was peaceful. I'm talking about before and after the incident.

Give him \ her benefit of the doubt, gents...if all else fails, turn the volume down and watch the video (should it appear).

Personally, I think if a video existed showing the demonstrators in a good light, it would have been posted on social media already...with the proliferation of camera phones and the willingness of people to self-promote, evidence would have been plastered all over the web by now.

I will wait for the "documentary" and judge from there.. but like you state, if a video existed showing the demonstrators in a good light it would be all over social media already, which I think is telling enough.

Especially to counter the image of the beaten, bleeding student and his overturned bakkie that was splashed around on the news sites. Anything that could position that violence more positively would have appeared already.

I have not posted in this thread because I believed that the protesters had a valid cause for their concerns, HOWEVER you and all those barbaric behaving students lost my respect when you took the protest action off of the campus to illegally infringe on other people's rights who have absolutely nothing to do with the protest and are just trying to go about their day to day activities trying to make a living.

It makes me sad for the future of this country when the so called "educated" youth of this nation cannot see the hypocrisy on the fact that the protesters are shouting foul when their rights are infringed on, but yet it is okay for them to infringe on the rights of others due to their "protests"?


You have been become a joke... well done!!
