Woolies vs Pick 'n Pay Prices

I usually stock up on my local Woolies specials .. like this week its mince R49/k, chicken R36/k, tuna R9.99 & a whole lot of other goodies on special.

Prices from memory so may not be accurate .. got the pamphlet in the car.

Hmm .. wanted to point you to the specials but Woolies online doesn't show the special prices.
Bad Woolies, bad!

If those are the prices that is awesome.

We have a Woolworths with no food section :wtf:

Woolworths also doesn't deliver to this part of the world, and when in the city, I rarely have time to do grocery shopping. So I get my Woolies foodstuffs at one of the garages as we leave Jo'burg.

I buy all my stuff from Pick 'n Pay if I can for vitality points and other points.

Woolies does Healthy Foods for Vitality too. That plus the in-store discounts and you can't go wrong. Woolies' fresh produce is miles above the rest.

I see you picked mostly name brand stuff though? Was that intentional?

I know for example that say grapefruits are easily 2x the price at WW. Mushrooms not far behind.

TBH I find the quality of fruit and veg at Woolies way better than PnP

How does that discounts work? I hardly ever get a discount. Is it only on certain items in store?
