Woolworths Credit Card

Ok, guys do you think this will work to earn additional Nedbank Greenbacks.

I open a WW credit card and then I make a payment from my Amex to the WW credit card at the till point and then I EFT the payment back to my Nedbank account and then to the Amex. The transaction on the Amex will show as swipe/cip transaction and I earn Greenbacks. And then rinse and repeat a few times a month.

What do you guys think?

Although the process will work, how much greenbucks u plan to earn this way?
 
Can wwcc account only be paid at Woolworths stores?

Are there no sister / partner stores?
 
Tried to apply online but the expense questions are not very clear and manage to count my bond twice and was declined. Called the call center and said I can only reapply in a month. OMG

Thanks Marsie, but that wouldn't help for ebucks.

I was looking for alternate retail stores where another credit card could be swiped, or a website where another credit card could be used to pay wwcc account.

Edit: a quick Google search found the following potential stores

Can any1 verify or confirm if eskom charges the debit/creditcard fee for payments done with a wwcc for amounts paid over R2500?

I know eskom does charge if paid with fnbcc.

I also know eskom dont charge if paid with ww storecard or checkers giftcard.

What about the wwcc?
 
If only debit orders can go off from a credit card, I'd send them to my wollies and max out my spend easy, rather than paying and sending back
 
I did a payment to my WWCC on the 11/02 and it still isn't reflecting on my account.

Who should I contact to query this?

I called their call center, who checked and cannot see the payment.

I have now emailed the proof of payment.

This is worrying. I did a payment at the Woolies POS on the 22nd. It went through soon after on the FNB side but still hasen't reflected on my WWCC - so at the moment I am spending on credit which was not the plan!

Hhhmm, very strange. Keep us updated on when it clears. Generally takes about 2 to 3 days from my experience.

It takes upto 5 days to reflect POS to WW Account.

Contact your CC type via email they will escalate and respond

If not reflecting in 5 days they will refer it to the Missing Payments department (after requesting it)
You must keep Proof of payment (slip from POS)

Allow a period of four working days for the payment to be traced and allocated.

Happens alot.
 
Awesum, do you have the daily balance SMSes enabled? It might be an idea if you don't. It used to take ABSA about 3 days to get my EFT from a non-ABSA account to reflect, but last week the payment I did on the 21st reflected in the SMS just after 8am on the 22nd.
