Woolworths fish sausage

Fish fingers in an artificial sleeve, or did they use real fish gut?

Or is the sausage sleeve made from sustainably sourced feral pigs?
Not fish gut or pigs. Apparently it took many years to perfect the casing. A mates company makes the equipment that makes these sausages.

Fish sausage is good, at least the ones made by our local fish shop in Langebaan. I have not tasted WW's attempt yet, but can't imagine why it would not be good. We are heavy and somewhat adventurous fish eaters in general though. Often kippers, haddock, angel and snoek on the menu, and if and when we get herring, fresh hake or cob, and not so often stumpnose etc. Special treats would be raw fresh tuna and salmon.
If it is anything like their newly launched jersey milk yogurt compared to what I can make without their added extras...

Do they take all the nasty bits, grind it together add a bit of artificial fish flavour and then sell it to the unsuspecting public?

Otherwise you'll just eat....fish.
