Wootware Motherboard Experience

Companies don't track their shipments they send out, they have contracts with courier companies and expect them to deliver. You are provided with a tracking number to follow up with and you can escalate. I've had delayed shipments (even lost ones) from the likes of amazon etc via dhl, fedex etc. I've also had DOA shipments.

I realise that ww erred initially and then rectified by sending a new product, you might be frustrated but I think you are being unreasonable. Unfortunately schit sometimes happens.

You obviously feel done in, the good thing is there are other vendors you can order from in future, vote with your wallet.

Wootware themselves acknowledged they should've done more with regard to the shipping and receiving of this specific shipment. Considering the special circumstances.

Nevertheless, I acknowledged to I was angry when I made this post.

Wootware offered a small discount for this motherboard from ASUS,

ASUS x570 wifi

I am going to get this hopefully it will arrive before Friday,

Wootware also said the new motherboard I received that was damaged, probably got damaged by the courier which makes sense as it was in a packet.

Wootware is good and I want to edit the title of this post because they are not entirely at fault of this situation, How can I edit the title of this post

Click on the "Report" button on your first post and ask mods to change title to what you want it to say.
e.g.
"Change Title: Wootware has the best After Sales Support"

They sent me some candy with the 2nd and 3rd motherboards, a nice touch.
And after the 3rd Motherboard had been ordered, they overnight shipped it and the board is new and undamaged. Huzzah!

The products arrived... One problem though, the R3075.00 Brand new motherboard I bought was... pre used.

The box was damaged, the anti static bag had holes in it and was opened. Last but not least the motherboard itself had thermal paste finger prints on the back of it. Lol

Check the photos.

Also, When I told wootware about this they said they would priority ship a new motherboard and I can send the old one back, Well I have sent the old one back. and ... I am still waiting for my new motherboard.

It has been 4 business days since they "Priority shipped" my product.


I was not going to write this review, I don't write reviews. However, Wootware deserves it. I am sitting here without a motherboard and my PC build has been delayed by a whole week thanks to Wootware.

Let us hope my motherboard arrives today.


REMINDER TO DOUBLE CHECK YOUR PRODUCTS BEFORE USING THEM.

If I had not checked my Motherboard, I wouldn't have noticed it was pre used.

There are a number of questions around this post
1) Never seen anyone get thermal paste on their fingers to get it transferred onto the board
2) WW would not accept a damage outer packing box from the supplier / distributor
3) The supplier would not supply a damaged outer box unless this is the last board of its type on mother earth
4) There is a check by the supplier on the contents of the packing box and if the anti-static bag is opened or damaged the supplier will not ship. Remember teh anti-staic bag is sealed and the packing

5) these boards require a BIOS update normally and if the power goes down while you are doing the update you end up with a plank of a motherboard
