World's first wireless graphics card

It helps if you have a PC that does all your media, and you have your own dedicated space for the PC. Now you can stream your HD movies et al to your TV from the next room.

I'm sure it will rock up with a price that will be too high. But like most people I will wait a couple of years for the prices to filter down and hopefully by then we will have wireless seamless connections between a computer and a tv.

It would be cool if they released a battery powered tablet style screen that could be used in tandem with the card, portability of a tablet around the house but with the possessing power of a desktop

(Just keep a wireless mouse and keyboard handy for gaming in the kitchen :) )

knowing nvidia, this thing will more than likely be unaffordable to the average joe . . .

Just make sure your mouse & keyboard is in the 900MHz range, as that nvidia will suck all available frequencies to get that thing send 1080p images.

Not a bad idea - but as they say in the article - you still need power cables so that kind of defeats the object...

I do a lot of exhibition exhibiting, and running one less cable for each display panel makes a very big difference, especially if the card can handle up to four or five displays simultaneously.

I also love the idea of streaming HD content to my various TV's within my house.
