Marvel certainly went all in on the now old saying, "Go woke, go broke". And surprise surprise they broke one of the strongest movie brands ever.

The crap show that is the MCU that we are left with now is nothing compared with what they started out with and ran with for a while.


 
Their problem imo is that they've used up all their top heroes and have been hit by the wokeness train at the wrong time.

DC has the same-sh problem where they've always focused on a smaller group of heroes, so they just keep recycling the same movies over and over.
 
Talented screen writers all moving to series where the money is moving to. However, the screen writers guild strike hit and it's going to take a while to recover.

I heard that RDJ didn't actually want to kill off Tony Stark and that Marvel was considering going with Captain America. Anyway, bad idea killing off two of your biggest and most well liked characters.
 
It's a bit of an exaggeration to say they killed it. It's had a pretty bad dip in quality for the last 3 years or so but I mainly attribute it to trying to churn out way too much content and spreading themselves too thinly across too many franchises. But GOTG3 wasn't bad at all, Echo looks intriguing... not too keen on Marvels but let's see how it does.

Stuck with the same problem though even if they do reboot.

They won't learn and will go with woke, pandering, preaching crap - instead of just making a solid popcorn movie, like Iron Man 1, Captain America 1, etc.

I have watched all their stuff, now I am asking you as a guy who has read most of their stuff - which things upset you personally? There is a high chance it was already in the comics.

I did and I don't actually see what is woke about it - they made horrible decisions, but all based on stuff from the comics. The comics were "woke" long before the movies ever were if that is the case.
