You should give the DC animated movies a try. They have made some really good animated movies.

If you want an interesting spin on DC superheroes, give Justice League: Crisis on Two Earths a watch, it's not at the same animation quality as the other 2 but the story is really good.

The ''wokeness'' thing is overplayed.

Reality: The MCU leading up to Endgame was lightning-in-a-bottle. We had never seen anything like it, where so many films and characters were built up and storylines interwoven in to a big send off. Nothing on such a scale had ever been attempted. The whole buildup to Endgame was also built on popular, beloved comic book characters.

What is happening now is Marvel trying to recreate that magic moment with reimagined characters that are really just cheap knockoffs of the originals. My favourite character was Captain America and I liked The Falcon as a side character, but I just can't buy into Captain America-Falcon, and they are doing this with a lot of the characters. Captain America is done, don't try and rehash him. Nobody cares about a diet version of the original.

Then there is also the fact that these characters have become the defining roles of many of the actors that played them and thus synonymous with them. Good luck trying to ever recast Iron-Man in the shadow of Downey Jr. And this isn't just exclusive to Marvel. Imagine trying to remake Alien or The Terminator, hoping for the same impact and expecting anybody to replace Sigourney Weaver and Arnie respectively in those films. They did actually try, and it failed. Noomi Rapace in Prometheus, but the film didn't generate traction and Noomi wasn't even in the sequel, so there went trying to reimagine Sigourney. The new Terminator films didn't bite either, not even old Arnie could salvage them.

The MCU up to Engame happened and it is never going to happen again, just like you are never reimagining Jaws or Alien or The Terminator. Once in a lifetime stuff with iconic, never to be recreated characters. Guardians of the Galaxy 3 survived its final film post-Endgame because it was still the original characters. Try and make a Guardians 4 with a new cast, as they alluded to in the credits, and it will likely flop. Loki season 2 works because it is still driven by a popular original character.

The other problem they have is burnout. The series that have been added just leaves you with so much to watch in order to keep up. And completing the Endgame Saga itself was like a 26-movie marathon.

I disagree with this. It's only a problem if they're aiming for continuity of either story or style. If they abandon those things and reboot Thor or Iron Man each time with a new story and a new aesthetic it's a whole lot easier to buy into the new actor playing the role. People thought Keaton was the ultimate Batman, then Bale comes along and kills it. Was Affleck great? No - but I actually didn't mind him that much because what Batman does each time is reboots the character - new suit and new aesthetic - feels like a different run of comics.

Marvel has the problem of every movie feeling the same. Let Downey finish his run, do some other movies then 5 years later reboot Iron Man and ja it might not be as iconic as Downeys performance but I won't care because it'll be fresh Iron Man that's got absolutely nothing to do with what came before and I'll buy into the new movies.

TBH, I hate Cpt Marvel/Marvels story line. It just doesn't grip me and seems way overpowered and excessive.

For the MCU, I would like to more Nova , Cosmo/Nowhere, Shan Chi.

And whatever happened to the guy at the end of Dr Strange? Or did I miss that story evolution , the one who goes back and murders a prior mystic.

Eternals, Love and Thunder and a lot of the others flopped for me.

Personally I liked WandaVision, Loki , Moonlight and Hawkeye ( for comedy the last one felt great ).

I can give guardians 3 a go again but I was possibly tired and fell sleep in the last 40 mins which doesn't normally happen so doesn't bode well.

Funny how the woke stuff always suffers from bad writing but the non-woke stuff doesn't always suffer from bad writing.

It's almost like if you try to shoehorn an agenda into your script as opposed to great characters and story, the script suffers. Like who knew?
