So i was watching pro 20 last night and getting very flippin ANGRY AT that stupid angle they kept showing. I want to the action like normal and not from the side were you can see bugger all.

It is the first i have ever seen side on angle's and its nothing more than pathetic.

Exactly! I was so effing p1ssed. I was also contemplating complaining about it. It's a pathetic camera angle. I missed a some good stuff due to it.

Look i do not give a F honestly who it is, i pay for dstv and the cricket was on SS, so supersport best sort this issue out as i do not watch sabc and only have dstv because of SS. I have never seen this stupid ass angle in all my days of watching cricket for obvious reasons.

Supersport has some of the best coverage of sports in the world and they should try and keep it up.

Also, another thing about last night's broadcast was the actual picture quality...it was crap. Normally, Supersports picture is crystal clear but this time there was picture breakup every few seconds and there was even a time where the colour switched to black and white for a solid 5 minutes before reverting back to colour.

Yea having one those bad just quit smoking days 3 months the line , that angle is fine for a replay or something but you miss alot when they do it live and that is what annoys me.

I'm in the minority here, I actually enjoyed last night's broadcast of the cricket- on SABC. The Supersport on-screen graphics aren't as good. With a few exceptions I also liked their presenters especially Neil Johnson and his preview of the wicket and the distances to each of the boundaries.

The low point was some of the commentators, there was one who spoke in such low tones one would've been excused for thinking that he was plotting a conspiracy. Craig Marais, the less said about him the better- he is competing to be the next Trevor Quirk of South African television.

Funny angles, yes they annoyed me at first but as the game progressed I got used to them...I suppose that's part of broadcasting 20/20 games.

There was one side angle on Friday to show the speed that was okay!

But last night the angles and keeping track of the game was terrible!

Yea it was worse last night than on friday night, 2 aussie wickets were out of angle and missed both of them and never actually got the head on angle reply.

Highly annoying and no brixton this has nothing to do with 20/20, nobody gives a F how fast the ball looks, we want to be able to see the ball being hit for a boundary or a wicket, just because it is pro 20 does not mean we need different angles.

You will have to complain to SABC. I was at the ground yesterday and you can clearly see the guys doing the camera work are the SABC guys, had the SABC t-shirts on.

Super Sport had 1 Camera man their for their interviews with mark niclaus,cullinan and pommie but the coverage of the game itself and angles was SABC camera men.

I doubt we will be getting these angles during the IPL.

I said the same thing last night, that side angle is pathetic.
Was it wide? Who knows from that damn angle!

They should just use that side angle for replays when it is appropriate, to show how fast the batter responded to hit a 6 or things like that. Definitely not live action.

It's been pissing on my battery as well. I cannot stand the new camera angles - they're pathetic, and I find myself using that word a lot when referring to SS these days.

The new angles (from backward point and short mid-wicket) provide you with absolutely nothing interesting. There is no real indication of speed and you're buggered if you're at all interested in where the ball is pitched, how or if it moves off the deck, swing in the air, whether a batsman actually edges it or not, whether a shot is played decently etc. It's fscking stupid and the w@nker who pushed these through as somehow valuable needs to have his responsibilities relieved ASAP. Useless twat...

Anyone listen to 567/702 the other day when they interviewed some guy at Supersport who addressed these camera angle complaints?

All SABC's doing, and according to him, SS only have two cameras on during play - and they are both fixed, i.e. ground in foreground and scenery in background, or view of the ground from a very high position.

Another thing frustrating about the SS broadcast is that they dont show the official presentation anymore, its ridiculous to see and hear it going on in the backround and then to only get the interviews afterwards. So from now on after the game I'm switching to SABC3
