That's not a bad router.
You want your phone/tablet to connect to 2.4Ghz in any case as that penetrates walls better than 5Ghz....
How far is your TV from the AP?

That's interesting, the 2.4Ghz penetrating walls better than the 5Ghz. So why would Vumatel force one to connect to the higher one?

5Ghz has less interference, did they disable the 2.4Ghz wifi on the device?

No they haven't, my Lenovo tablet and my tv is running on the 2.4Ghz channel at 50% of the speed at about 50mbs. But I'm going to connect my TV via LAN cable to the router too just like I did with my PS4 which will enable it to run on the 5ghz one.

So I got my newly installed Vumatel fibre sorted out that was only running on 50% capacity after three days. The problem was that there were two networks one could connect to, the normal once which gave me only half the speed and a 5GHz connection which is the correct one which provides me the full 100mbs connection. In order to make that possible I had to connect my PS4 up directly via a LAN cable to my router as it couldn't connect via Wifi to this network. Unfortunately my Sony Xperia phone is the only other device in my house that can connect to this network via WiFi, but neither my TV or my Lenovo tablet can. I'm however pretty sure that my TV would be able to connect if it's directly linked via a LAN cable to the router as well similar to the gaming console. The problem is how do I get my Lenovo 10" tablet to connect too, as I sometimes like to stream Netflix and sports on this device as well. Does a mini LAN cable exist that I can use for my tablet or not, or perhaps any other options that can be applied. Any one's input will be greatly appreciated for sure, thank you?

Actually, now that I think about it,some ISPs actually set up the 2nd wifi network with a "guest" profile that runs at half max speed
Either way if cabled is full speed thats definitely not Vumatel's issue

Log into the router and check the config
