my experience the wug has slowed down abit (downloads 200kb,pings sometimes 3000ms) also but i try and help with donations were i can and i have spoken to Protz before and i agree with what hes says.I also agree its not fair the admins cannot do everyhting but i prefer the way Densweep does things if there a problem with the HS then he contacts the people that connect to it or if he needs something for the HS and if he needs help i will assist.i havent had attitude before with the guys i have asked for help from before with either but i did get help without even donating also.and please remember the admins are only a handfull of guys.

First comment of negativeness that's just lovely, this is definitely not hate speech, there is a definite problem with the network, for atleast a month all pings from the pretoria side of the network has been between 1000m/s and 3000m/s and I have spoke to numerous people with the same problem, but it seems that whenever anyone complains it considered hateful towards the community, the moment anyone decides to voice their opinion they get shut down.

The links between centurion and pretoria are:
PO-RV-LT
PO-RV-VH
HF-KK-WM
EP-WP-LT
DW-ER-CT
DW-ER-ZK
JINX-MS-GV

so that is RV, KK, WP, ER and MS, 5 sites that create links between the two areas, these links are running at full capacity 24/7

We need more highsites on the ridges to create more links between the areas

Die moot se enigste link uit is deur WL-WG, dis die groot probleem, ons kort sites op die rante wat die moot en die res van die wug kan sien, om nog links uit te kry.

die WL-WG link sit op -75 met CCQ van 30 tot 60%, ek het al 'n paar uur spandeer om hom beter te kry, freqs gechange, tx power, etc, maar geen sukses.

Not just by myself either, but also one of the other X-admins.
The equipment was purchased, installed and aligned.
But the WB HS was excluded from the planning and links were put up over it.

So, if you are telling me to find alternative ways of improving Moot speeds, we did.
But it seems the HS is not recognized as a HS as we did not rely on WUG Donations, it was build and upgraded with our own savings money.

As for donations, we have all made donations. Especially as it would improve speeds and expand the network.

If I was a admin on PTAWUG I would disable Koos's mac finish en klaar.

Do a trial, stop the qos and do tests, test the perceptions.

I was once told, the most difficult thing is to change someone's perception. Change my perception and the rest of the wuggers and you might get what you are looking for.

eish, im struggling to find te page on the wiki with the upgrade plans and LOS tests, like the other ones that went up in last 6 months with motivations, LOS pics and graphs, upgrade cost estimates etc

Die probleem is dat WB net 'n proper link aan RR het. RR link na WL en MV, dis hoekom RR gekies is. Mens kan nie net beplanning neerskryf en goed gaan koop en hoop almal wat betrokke is met die projek stem saam met jou nie. jy moet met hulle praat, storie bespreek, etc.

Daar is nooit vir my 'n lys gestuur van goed benodig word om die site te upgrade dat ek dit op ptawug.co.za kan sit nie, net 'n lys van wat reeds gekoop is om in die donations te log.

Magalies is full, we are not allowed to put up any more antennas. We started with 3 and pushed to 6, thats the maximum we are allowed to put up.

No, I did not take off anything. The plannings was on a seperate page under the ML ML2 HS's.

yes, the US are the people that actually do something to improve the network
the THEM are the people that do not want to help on highsites/find new highsites/donate/help users/populate wiki/etc.
