WWDC 2014

So after dissing Android, they copy its ability to directly respond to notifications? LOL.

Lol and they also copy the keyboard suggestions.

Edit: still no custom keyboards :-( I love the automatic iMessage features. Can't wait for the reviews.

Edit 2: Whoohoo Swiftkey do your magic!!!

The photo editing capabilities in iOS8 looks insane. Missed the first half but a lot of awesome new features from what I've seen.

Convergency between OS X and iOS. I do like the continuity feature. Will make my keynote presentations so much easier.

Think again.

seems like apple catching up to the android;
interactive notifications, keyboard prediction, widgets, photo editing, sharing feature

some really neat features:
continuity, answering calls using mac, family sharing apps, health

Yosemite will be available to developers today, which has a cost. But the public beta will be available for public in the fall, which means August September sometime

Swift looks interesting. It is another layer on top of objective c with interactive features.

I dunno man...I'm not impressed. Apple were touting that this would be the best WWDC in the last 20 years, with the most updates and improvements. Dang...I noticed a few items that were copies from Android...widgets are great, but why put them in notifications ? they would be better on the home screen.

I dunno man, im disappointed. They need a new leader like SJ to make some major improvements - not the mickey mouse changes here and there. I am slowly moving away from iOS, although I am still firmly a Mac and OSX user

Think I agree with you here....in terms of iOS, hardly any new innovative features brought to the table that the competition dont have. In fact I think most of these features were already on android in 2011...only new thing was family sharing and ios/mac integrations for answering calls etc.

I am excited about yosemite....os x was looking dated and needed a refresh badly....though I am not convinced about the look of that glass trash can..lol
