Hi

Anyone used these guys? Free delivery anywhere in SA, 2-3 Weeks delivery time.... no minimum order.....

"Extremeshop, it's owners and agents are stricly not liable for any import duties costs! Note that you do not need an import license to order anything from us- but there is generally a small clearance fee that you have to pay for the item at your post office (your liability) which varies from R0 - R30 for most orders. The post office will not release your parcel is this is not paid, but most orders go through as a gift where you do not have to pay any fee. If you consider the extreme prices we offer for our products, this small clearance fee is still very competitive compared to other online shops in South Africa - remember that other shops also charge you a delivery/postage fee where we don't charge that at all!
Generally if your order contains more than one item, they will be shipped seperately to lower customs fees.
Your order will be placed with our warehouse in Hong Kong and if stock is available your order will be shipped to the address you provided (usually within 3-5 business days after payment has been confirmed) - if such an address has been wrongly entered by yourself on the site (extremeshop.co.za) it's owners and agents will not be liable for the delivery of your order, and no refunds will be issued."

They seem okay though, haven't tried them yet

"For warranty purposes most of our stock carries different warranty periods randing from 3 months to 1 year. If a item is faulty, you must return it to ExtremeShop.co.za in Pretoria via post and include a detailed description of the problem, your order date, delivery date, order number etc. Contact us to arrange this. It is at our discretion to repair or to replace the item. If the item cannot be locally repaired we might ship the item back to our warehouse for repair/replacement. Shipping costs for the return of the repaired/new item will be at your cost and the post office might incurr the same clearance fee or similar clearance fee that you initially paid to receive the item. "

Hmm...its a carbon copy of a Hong Kong shop(their supposed warehouse) which is not known for fast shipping or decent products.I would be careful

No contact details,nothing.

Digital Revolution cc...not good reference on google.

I stumbled upon this site last night. Decided to throw caution to the wind and waste a measly R30 on there (won't break the bank you see). What bothers me is that I was like order number 21. Only 21 Orders since they opened? Strange...

Money Detector Ball Pen with UV LED and Cell Phone Activity Indicator @ R29.95

(I've always wanted one of those 'Phone Activity Indicator'-stickers to put on the back of my phone, but I just never seem to get the time to head on down to the flea market )

But there are lots of other things on there thats I also like, but I first need to test them out...

Yup, me and my dad when we are back at China for holiday or visiting relatives, will always get some of these gadgets. Multi-tool, Water proof aluminium LED torch....

Looks interesting indeed...

I know of a few shops in DBN like everlasting, manwa and osmans that sell similar items at similar prices, however they dont stock such a range of interesting items. I think i will also give it a test run with a few screen protectors and a little lazer that could be fun to mod...

If they run away with my money or i get sent to the pen house for reciving 10kg meth with my lazer light, it will make for an interesting story.

By the way, they a "new" shop, so that might explain the low order numbers. I will keep you all informed on the outcome.

just checked out the site and saw something i want but now i would rather throw caution to the wind and check in with the forum before i attempt buying from this site.

I got order number 40, hehe...

Took the plunge and ordered a bunch of stuff - what concerns me is that they say they might ship items separately to "save on customs". If I have to pay "up to" R180 for my 6 items I'll be severely p****d off!

From T&C:
"Generally if your order contains more than one item, they will be shipped seperately to lower customs fees."

Wow... that's a serious breach of customer privacy!

However, kudos to them - I logged a support ticket late last night, and it's fixed this morning... you now get an error message when trying to view someone else's order:

"This is not your invoice, if you believe this to be an error please contact us. Halting..."

I saw the "oopsy" they had some time back already - was contemplating on dropping them a mail. Glad they reacted that fast to your ticket charlatan. They always seem to respond rather fast to them. :)

Some guy spent 25k with me within a month of me opening ... but then I did have tons of correspondance which increased the trust threshold.
