XBMC Add-ons

I use 1Channel for most of my tv and movies.

The other awesome plugin i use is iStream....They have TV/Movies/LiveTV and it is updated a lot.
For sport they have all the skychannels in the LiveTV section and a few others that cover just about everything.

Running those 2 on my CS918 from AVSupply pretty much covers anything out there and saves me from having 50plugins updating every time i start it up. I run my setup of a mifi (AfriHost Mobile), sometimes have to let it buffer a bit for HD Quality but normally it runs well.

The other one i have is MashUp if you want to download instead of streaming, just need to install JDownloader and run them both.

That's my 2 cents...hope its helpful.

In istream under settings you can also enable a couple of indexers. I find project free tv on it's own or via istream to be irreplaceable at times, I use the last 24 hour thing about every day, love it.

Yeah, i find that if you enable all of them it takes a while longer to search tho, so a bit of trial and error on which to enable

Hmmm interesting, never knew it effected the search speed. I might have to revisit my 1000 plugins and bring it down a bit.

Most of the other add-ons are either standard or can be installed via the XBMCHub add-on installer. I have bypassed XUnity as some of their stuff passes your movie habits onto Google, not to mention the odd Adverts that they impose upon you.

Thanks, updated the first post.

Any of you having problems with Cartoons HD. Randomly all the shows are missing then back again. I have read iCartoons HD closed then open then closed don't know if that is the problem. Really like using it though as the movies are also HD. Any other add ons that you can suggest ?

Anyone know of an Add on that will keep track of recently watched series, I would like to have access to them as a favourite without having to actually favourite then unfavourite each series

Trakt install the add on and is integrated into quite a few addons like Genesis.

Just to add to trakt.tv , get the seriesguide app on android that syncs your trakt.tv account which the developer has been updating quite regurlarly :). There is a X version that adds some extras but only if you need them however i personally think it is just to support him. I can't vouch for the other apps but this one i have been using for over a year and it tells you how long you have spent watching as far as you can remember :D. It does movies too ;-)

I can understand what trakt.tv does but how do you make use of it in xbmc.

With it synchronising all that you have watched, if you are running extra xbmc's, they all reflect the same. Also ideal if you do a fresh install of xbmc.

Yes, so you still have to sunscribe to them(series) so that they show in you favourites. Then you put the filter on so that it only show the stuff you haven't watched yet, so all the previous seasons will not show, only the stuff you haven't watch yet.

Thank you will give it go. So if understand correctly you do the changes on the trakt.tv web site then it will change in xbmc ?

Yes and no. You can go onto the website and mark it off, but on xmbc, if you right click on an episode, you can mark it as 'watched' without watching it. Then it is marked off. And after you watched an episode on xmbc, think about 80% of it, then it will be marked/ticked as watched, so you actually don't have to go to the website.

O, and after you watched an episode, you get a popup thing that want you to rate the episode. You can even download apps for your android with calendars for all the subscribed series, and it will remind/show you what comes on when. I love the this apps.
