All these sticks also have different wifi, so different device firmware is cross-compatible but wifi won't work.
But you can build your own firmware if needed and you get the correct wifi pin numbers.

The advert ways 4.2 but it comes with 4.4.

KitKat isn't the requirement though, my other android TV stick is 4.2 and also works perfectly. Its a mk808B.

The guy with the frown on his face probably had something to do with that... people are not liking when things are shared it seems
 
Have only tried installing from zip but doesn't work... Will struggle later
 
Ok, so got it to work.

Extract zip > put "SS.bundle" into plug ins folder > restart PMS

Oddly enough, it didn't ask for (nor need) my Connect ID details. Which makes me think it won't be around for too long.

Streaming SS2 and SS3 stream fine, decent quality, For some odd reason it's showing me other events that have already happened, like the IPL game from earlier.

EDIT: To confirm, this is a PLEX Plug In, it will NOT work on Kodi/XBMC

So anyone willing to "privately" share the Kodi Plug In, now that the Plex Channel is "public".

I assume it uses the same/similar code, links, etc.
 
Well first time I downloaded and had a look at the plex addin code since it was mentioned in this thread and it seems it is using a user agent of "SuperSport/3.7.0 (iPad; iOS 8.0; Scale/1.00" Somebody probably analyzed the IOS app and ripped the urls from there. All those are 1200 kbps (416p). The streams I mentioned earlier that is playable with a current xbmc plugin is different and quality is higher (720p for SS1 - SS3) - holding my breath about these but guess its also a matter of time...
