Xbox 360 issues, tissues.

Dunno if they have the HDMI in out ... I'm not a one-box-system type of person anyway. I prefer my big, seperate boxes ... hehe

Maybe you get an HDMI in/out for R4,000 altogether? Told ya my pricing is off ;)

Furnic, ignore the friggin technopiles, ignore HDMI, just use the Component cables that came with your 360 (the 3 funny colour plugs you probably aren't using on an SDTV).

yip, how did you know, been sneaking around my house while I was out?
As someone said, you can't tell the difference, but more importantly you don't have to spend money on a superfluous cable and secondly it already has the audio connector so you don't have to find a work around.

damn, but I really wanted to use the HDMI port thingy, but it looks like its easier (and cheaper) to give it a miss...

As far as that TV goes, I've never used it or seen it, go give it an eyes on, ask them to hook up a 360, or take your own. The difference is like playing on a PC monitor versus playing on a TV.

Huh? I find the quality on the normal TV though to be crystal clear - maybe I'm eye deaf..you know like tone deaf?

Then you're just like me ;)

You typically won't see the difference just strolling around a showroom floor because they set them up like maggots. To really compare you hook up a 360 to an HDTV and set the output to 480p - you'll see it's a touch blurry on an HD TV. Flip it over to 720p in the settings and it's crisp and clear.

But as I said, I'm still playing on a decent 74cm crate and it's still great, I'm in no rush to upgrade.
