I was just going to say that. Got an email from EA today saying prices going up at the end of march. Did not say how much though.

I wonder if they will launch live now...

Is the Arcade version really a viable option not having a hard drive?

Note: Got my answer in another thread.

Who even says a Blu-Ray version is going to come out? There isn't a need for bloated game discs on the Xbox 360 console right now. The PS3 however is marketed more as a home entertainment system to push the Blu-Ray format. Microsoft has the Xbox LIVE Video Marketplace for HD downloads in the US and the UK and all Xbox 360 consoles are now fully capable IPTV set-top boxes. Why buy a movie when you can just stream it.

Even if BR is introduced, it will probably be an add-on. Having the option is by far better than being forced into it. Most people buy a console for it's games, not it's media storage format. This is one of the reasons that you'll never see a R1999 PS3 any time soon.

While the external DVD-HD drive on the X-Box could have made it a contender for the Home Theater, it (the X-Box itself) is only about 3dB's quieter than a 747 at take off. Kinda defeats the object of a Home Theater device.

In stark contrast, I actually bought and use a PS3 as my primary BR drive for watching HD movies!

And with both an X-Box and PS3, we mostly play games on the Wii....go figure....

I hate consoles out of principle, but the Wii just has a certain something. Even my 50 year old mom wants to acquire a Wii.:D

the wii is for old people and little children. its got like what, 5 games? cmon if ur serious about gaming you would have a hot-box with 150 titles at LEAST.
