XBOX 360 Pricing rant

I am lookin at getting a 360 Slim 250 GB and have been checking out prices here and there. Here is a quick break down.

UK in pounds:
360 S 250GB + Kinect - 269.99 (R2889.31)
360 S 250 GB - 179.99 (R1947.85)
Kinect - 99.99 (R1082.14)

SA
360 S 250GB + Kinect - R4299
360 S 250 GB - R3439.95

Kinda makes me wanna cry. And im sure the guys in SA who are importing these consoles by the thousands and not paying that much extra on import duties and shipping to warrant such a HUGE mark up.

If it wasnt so cold and sh*tty in the UK, and I could have my 3500sq m garden and our domestic helper, and all the chavs children were locked up, i'd move there in a flash. HAHA. No i lie, i'd never leave SA. It are the place to be!! in a non-tech related sense

Except Makro sold the new 4gb 360's with the Kinect, 2 games and a stuffed animal for R2400 a few weeks ago and IC were selling them for R200 for brand new Elite machines with damaged boxes online. It's about getting the good deal when it's available.

Look and Listen is selling the XBox 360 250GB + Kinect + the EA Sports Active Game [the one with the heart rate monitor] for R3999.00 . That's probably as good a deal will be for now.
