Hi everyone,

I need some help please.
I want to stream content over my wireless network to my Xbox using the WRT54GL as the wireless adapter plugged into my Xbox. I have a B970 Huawei router for internet plugged into my desktop downstair. What firmware do I need to install on my WRT54GL and how should it be set up? Any help will be appreciated.

I set up the same thing last week. Running DD-WRT v24 on the Linksys, with a NAS plugged in to that. Assigned the XBox a static ip, and it can browse and play from the NAS fine - except that there was occasional lag when using the XBox's wireless receiver. So I unplugged that, and connected it to the router by cable (crossover cable works, by the way, for XBox to router). Now all streams sweetly, with 700MB movies loading in 10 seconds or so.

The only settings changes I ended up making were (besides the static IP) to disable UPnP on the Linksys - until I did that, the wireless connections on the PC's and laptops in the house kept dropping and reconnecting every 10 or so minutes.

Thanks for the reply. Will give it a shot when my Xbox returns next week from maestro @ quickflow IT. I had a GPU failure. Trying to get as much info as possible so long in order to set it up properly next weekend.
