Try the above options. cheaper than going direct.

Didn't want to do that because they automatically enable auto-renew when you do it through MS. Then you manually have to go and disable it somewhere...

Use your CC directly, or sign up at Entropay and get a virtual CC which you can use to pay with (their fees are slightly pricey considering PayPal practically is free)

XBOX GOLD PRICE INCREASE SOUTH AFRICA

Hi everyone,

To my surprise i got a sms this morning with a R159 charge to my account for a purchase on xbox gold....

To my disgust i found out that that the price increase for the monthly membership has increased by R109 from R50 per month to R159.... MORE THAN TRIPLE!!

ABSOLUTE BS!

My subscription has been cancelled with immediate effect and I am sure a lot of south african subscriptions will follow

what happens if you dont have Live? Can you still play the games you downloaded if you cancel?

Xbox live cancelled due to price increase. Sure the extra R110 wont make anyone poorer, but I just don't use it often enough. Should've cancelled a long time ago

Guys, just buy a year subscription, the once off fee works out a lot cheaper. I actually bought mine on Cdkeys and paid R660 for it while everyone else was charging R749 to R900 for it.

Does anyone have an idea, rumor, possible uncle, aunt, nephew, illegitimate child that works at Microsoft that knows when the Xbox One S will be available in South Africa? Mine croaked with the lightning the other day and I need to replace it. So would like to replace it with the S rather than with the older one as to get that extra 4 extra pixels of graphic output.
