Xbox one - thoughts?

Come to think of it, i'm pretty sure we owned a Sony VHS in the 90's that looked exactly like this...

It looks fine, get over yourselves. Who cares what it looks like at the end of the day, it is what it does that counts.

The controller looks great and has always been better than the PS one. The specs look fine, on par with PS4. Just like current gen it will be almost similar.

All the stuff they showed on series and movies and how you can seamlessly switch looks ok, but how will it work in any other country other than the US. Cloud crap is interesting, but once again, what about our country where internet is a luxury and internet speed is a dream? Xbox live did nothing for me. Paying just to be able to play multiplayer sucks and when you pay on the PS network at least you get free stuff. They need to better this.

Dunno, we will see more at E3... But i will wait and see what pricing looks like. Something tells me it is not going to be cheap.

The Halo series by Spielberg sure looks interesting though...

They said 1080p in the conference.

That doesn't necessarily mean that all games are at 1080p...
as it is, the 360 is capable of gaming at 1080p, but there are only a handful of titles at that resolution

So the reselling of used games hasn't been finalised yet?
I think a lot of people have been too quick to run to conclusions regarding this and if one can still grant access(albeit from your own profile) to other profiles to play the game then it brings a bit of relief on that front. I think as expected a lot is going to change over the life cycle, maybe not immediately but it will and hopefully for the better. Sony has yet to decide what it's going to do and not a lot is clear.

Another question(maybe currently not as important) but I wonder how long we're still going to have the current generation for and will things like it's online features be compatible with the new consoles? I'm certainly going to keep them(I've got both) for at least a year or 1.5yrs still.

All in all I'm really fascinated by the economics and strategies to be applied by both companies. A bit of a break from the mobile scene.

Microsoft taking on Apple TV in this one. I think from what I have seen from Sony they are failing to see the big picture
