I like, As in planned home network.... Windows Phone(s),Windows Tablet(s),Windows 8 desktop(s)/Laptop(s) for heavy lifting and XBox One entertainment Hub for the whole family or two if I/You can afford, perfect ecosystem.Problem?.....I just love my Android goodness.:(

Yeah I mean SmartGlass...

having a quick overview, SmartGlass seems to be better than PS Official App.

Thanx Mouse, but wouldn't that lead to "too" much fragmentation in terms of hardware/software combinations ,whereas with my above scenario everything will just seamlessly integrate?

For those who like to "tweak" and not be tied down to one ecosystem, then your solution makes perfect sense.

I don't have much faith in MS's ability to integrate properly, even if its with their own tech.
Aside from that, I would prefer having the best tool for the job.
That means, I would choose Android or iOS for my phones and tablets,
the best console at any given time as well as a PC, and optionally a handheld console. This part is subjective, based on the available games per platform, online services and hardware quality. Sony got my support by having so many of their own studios producing more exclusive content than the competition that was also good quality, decent hardware quality and amazing online service (PSN+)
This seems like it will continue next gen as well

What was Sony's pre-E3 conference like?

They announced their new controller, hardware specs, a better developer environment, and showed that they are more indie friendly

I would expect SmartGlass to be massively updated for the Xbox One, and to support similar features.. and MS will probably do a better job since they have experience in it already.
