Xbox One unveiled, next-gen game console from Microsoft

The Xbox reveal left me feeling meh.

PS4 looks the best thus far.

Wii U is looking more and more like garbage every day.

My thinking too. The Xbox 360 has served me very well over the last few years. The console works every time and hasn't let me down.

Agreed. If the price is < 4K, I think i will treat myself and get one.
 
If Microsoft wants to tie a game to an xbox live account I will definitely not be buying it.
If their e3 show is anything like that insult to gamers "reveal" of theirs I will be selling my 360 and getting a PS4.

It also apparently needs to go online once every 24 hours...

Why not? I'd think it'd make people's lives easier. It makes live closer to steam. With steam you never have to worry about discs or if your house burns down. Everything is on your account ready for you to redownload.

That's quite an extreme example :P
I swap and lend a lot of games with my friends. So now we have to share our account details just because Microsoft wants more money.
 
How's this voice command thing gonna work with sound coming from the TV when playing games or watching TV/movies? During the demo there was no sound...
 
LOKKS VERY GOOD THE XBOX ONE you can watch tv and play <<you can make gestures like s4 talk to the xbox say" xbox game" if you watch rugby its capable of spliting screen and giving stats<<<you can use elll phone to integrate<<<wait and see if ps4 will do same

Keep in mind that none of those features will work here, do you realistically see Supersport and Multichoice working with Microsoft to provide all of the sports and TV stuff?
Voice control for Kinect still isn't supported in South Africa.

Yeah.. but when I watch a movies I don't want to surf the web for content related to the movie its distracting.
