Not really. I went from 360 to PS4 because of the multiplat argument initially. But now that I have an X1, you really can't tell the difference during gameplay. Backwards compatibility is the game changer. If I could only buy one console at this point in time, I'd choose the X1. You have to give credit to MS for upping their game...

Might as well reply to this now too. Seems their service has gone downhill over the last few months. Not sure I would recommend them any more.

That is a good point. I still have my 360 for when I get some time to finish the Halos and gears of wars. Phil has done a lot of good. he is a lot more humble than Don.

Under Don they wouldn't allow multiplats that launched on another console first, while Phil is happy to get as many games as he can he get.

Phil also is trying his hardest to change the xbone perception from media centre, to games machine.

And that's great.

I think though we'll need another generation, with Phil at the helm from the start, to really something special from microsoft.

I have both consoles. You don't see me going into PS4 threads telling them how much better XB1 is, you on the other hand seem to be stuck on one note, PS4 > XB1 because of higher (unnoticeable) frustrates and one or 2 crappy exclusives. Talk about hilarious :whistle:

Absolutely nothing about my PS4 is better than the XB1, The XB1 has limitless possibilities. Maybe stop googeling "Why my ps4 is better than XB1"
But i suppose one tends to defend their poor choices in life.

The PS store is infinitely better than the X1 store. It allowed you to sort and filter straight out of the box, while MS still doesn't allow this after 2 years. Instead they're forcing their Bing crap on you, which is pointless if you don't really know what you want, and just want to browse around while filtering by price, genre etc...

Firstly I have both a 360 and PS3. I got my 360 around 3 years after the PS3 as that's when it had enough exclusives that I could justify it.

It sounds like you've been drinking too much of the microsoft koolaid. The "cloud" hasn't added anything to any game released yet.

Maybe take a step back and look at things objectively.

I agree the search filters are not up to scratch, but this really does not have any bearing on the console it self. I see a real bright future for the XB1, i read an article last week that Microsoft wants to bring Office to the XB1, it already supports a mouse and keyboard and games will also incorporate this very soon. Imagine having office on the XB1, why would one need a home computer?

That's just a bad idea IMO. If that's the case then we may as well just get a PC...

Honestly i think you have to look at things objectively, not me. I have a PS3, Xb 360, PS4 and the XB1. I would say i enjoyed the PS3 more than the XB 360. And the PS4 is a fantastic console, in a pure gaming perspective its the best.
The Xb1 just gives you so much more possibilities than just gaming.

And what would a pc with those specs cost you?
I think its a great idea to be honest. the XB1 can do anything a desktop can do and so much more, but for less......
