Ditto. Phoned around. Nothing. I suspect that 1) It was old stock to get rid of the 500GB Xbox one (as the 1TB is now the standard) and 2) attempt to get you into the shop and sell you the more expensive one.

I looked around, the closest I could get to the same special was one for R5500 :mad:

Takealot has the Gears of War + Xbox One 500GB for R5200. I used eBucks and got it down to lower than ICs price, including an extra game. :)

(Note, I didn't want to buy it, but was told to buy it.....by my SO)

Ah man, should have posted before buying. I would have bought those ebucks from you, and you could have used the cash to buy it :(

Not a bad price. It is the older 500GB model. The IC special was (if I recall correctly) only the console. With this, you get gears of war( est. worth R500 by now) extra. So in effect, console alone was about R4700. Which is the best I could find, except for the sold-out IC for R4000.
 
So I joined the XBOX ONE community today with the following games:

Titanfall
Need For Speed
Halo 5
Halo: Master Chief
Gears of War: Ultimate Edition
Battlefield 4
WRC 5
Forza 6

I'm really struggling with the UI.

I tried to play some BF4 and I hated it... how the hell do you play it like that. (remember, I play it on PC!)

Which need for speed? Make sure you get games with gold, and EA access isn't to bad. If you like dos games, can't go wrong with destiny the taken King

I'm wondering where does one get the Kinect? I can't seem to find it on Incredible.co.za or Takealot.com

I havent explored the "Gold" yet... I'm using the 14 day trial thing that came in the box.
Seems each game has a trial (2 days, 7 days etc)
 
You can get the Kinect at makro, around r2500. Note that the mic doesn't always turn off when playing online games. People will hear everything.

Games with gold gives you 2 free games a month. Thief and some other game right now

Also look for preview games. One is Ark. Gives you a free hour to play to see if you want to buy it or not. Another is elite dangerous

Advice... Is the Kinect worth getting?

Because I'd like to get this too if it works on the "ONE": XBOX 360 Nike+ Kinect Training - Does anyone know?

Xbox fitness doesn't need it anymore. Check it out, in the apps section

Just out of interest, did you manage to get the incredible connection deal?
 
So if you phone game and show them the IC special would they beat the price, or is that a long shot?
