Gamepass is truly a gamechanger, and I'm so happy that I bought the 3 years. I'm really, really glad there were no PS5's in stock at launch. Hehe.

Oh my brother is fuming and swearing @ Sony, asking if they watching this s4it.

I know it should not but his misery makes me feel good about getting a Xbox as well, even if its just the Series S.

Edit: For context, he is a PS die hard like some we know on here and will never support "The Devil"

I am super pumped for:

* Stalker 2
* Starfield
* 12 minutes
* Somerville
* A plague tale

I am looking forward to:

* The Ascent
* Psychonauts 2 (I am trying to finish othe first one, but wow it is dated)
* Scorn
* Age of Empires 4
* FH5
* Halo (maybe)

I Am cautiously pumped for:

* Atomic heart

I will also give Hades and Flight sim a go.

As for the rest, seems to be mostly co-op / MP stuff.

Flight Sim and Forza looked out of this world, not sure if my internet is enough for Flight Sim though only got 40mb but I am sure you can fly with lag, will remember to steer clear of any skyscrapers

Include Stalker 2, Diablo 2 and Starfield, if those are the only games I get to play this gen then it was money well spent on the new console

Hi, I know this was mentioned earlier in this thread but does anyone know if the 1:1 conversion still works after your ultimate membership expires? Mine is expiring in 7 days

Sure, it does. Still helped someone to do this a few weeks ago.
Just make sure you so not have autorenew enabled now.

Post #1895 in this thread says it could stil be done. May 26, 2021.

Yes, that is how I joined. Had to wait for mine to expire 1st before I could load up em 3 years. It will cost you R150, unlike others that do it for the 1st time that only pay R15.

Just started The Outer Worlds, about 30minutes or so in.

looks really nice.

2 things that I need to see can I get over however:
  • Inventory does not have a default “compare to equipped”. This seems like an RPG basic that is missing
  • To pick up and item you need to place the reticle precisely on the item, using right thumb-stick, and then push X. So when there are say 5 items in close proximity you need to keep switching between thumb-stick and X

so I decided to put The Outer Worlds down for now, and started playing Nier: Automata.

i know it is a older game, but oh man I am glad I did. This is a gem, and the soundtrack is so good.
About 4 hours in, and I will definitely be putting many more in
