Xbox Series X / S

I guess it depends on how old you are.

I have been playing FPS with keyboard and mouse (inverted obviously) for more than half of my life, hard to teach an old dog new tricks
Same but I can switch between both, I was on console exclusive for almost 7 years until I got a PC again, was like riding a bike.

Very much depends how old you are.

I also used to only play KB&M when I was younger but then I got older and lazier and realized that it's a bloody pain to use a keyboard and mouse from a couch so I bit the bullet and decided to just move to controller. Haven't looked back.

Still going to download doom eternal. Looks great. Pretty sure the last doom I played was doom 2.

maybe 10+ hours on a FPS with controller will make me better

I haven't used a KB+M since the early 2000's so I'm pretty good with FPS using a controller.

I struggle with Doom. The game is just way too sensitive to inputs. Start with literally anything else, and only play it when you're used to the controller...

I agree. It's probably the most difficult fps to play with a controller if it's you aren't used to a controller.
titanfall 2? apparently this is a great single player FPS (I only play single player games)

I don't think that is the best game to start with, it is kak difficult. Rather start with Halo.
Played it easy mode on XB1 and got stuck on the 1st Marauder. Couldn't get past that level. The game really expects you to know your **** on a controller.
