You should have a Microsoft account that you normally log into Windows with. Assuming you have Windows 10. I'm not sure but I assume you can create your Gamertag there. And add me as a friend. I'm Solitude. The one without the numbers at the back.

Look, as a couple of entire reasonable people have pointed out, you have to check for Out of Box Failure - glad they reminded me - I made the mistake once of buying something 3 months before Xmas on special and then not testing it immediately after purchase - it turned out to be an Out of Box Failure leading to much disappointed for both the giver and the receiver.
 
Look I think there will be a few hic-ups with the delivery's for today, but it should be before Friday everyone gets their consoles.

I know I sound like an old record here but I knew this was going to happen due to covid and various other reasons ( For certain things Import and Export are on the go slow )
 
First impressions:

* it's incredibly quiet
* UI feels super snappy
* quick resume is great, takes a few seconds to switch between supported titles

So far I've played Ori, Hellblade and some Forza 4. All look really good on my 1440p monitor, can't wait to try them in 4k

Edit: setup was a breeze, took a few minutes via the App. Had to download a 700mb update
 
For those who have received your x/s so far. Do you mind letting us know which retailer and province? So we know our chances of a today delivery lol

Congrats bud

Although very small. I would just check the console out before you lose the 7-14day return and swop policy depending on which retailer you got it from. So open it up and maybe just do the setup and check it out. Then wrap it back up ;)

But then again with MS support you'll probably end up waiting like 7 days max to get a replacement via MS support so not too bad

I did turn it on and update it, just got into the menu then had to turn off, so yeah all is working good.

This is not the Xbox vs PS thread. I asked a legitimate question regarding MS. For you shifting it to Sony and Nintendo, shows who is salty. Anyway, enjoy your Netflix repeats.
