Xbox Series X / S

I wanted to like Scorn, but I just don't. I was quite puzzled why they would release Scorn and Plague Tale so close to each other - but I understand now. Plague Tale is the really big release, Scorn is just an indie disappointment.

I read a few reviews before I played it and the experience I had was much the same - lots of wondering around lost. Haven't even got to the bad combat yet. Honestly, it may be a victim of uninstall soon.

Really disappointed if I'm honest.

I somewhat knew what to expect so I wasn’t really surprised other than it being even more visceral than I imagined it would be.

It was never going to be a AAA title and likely the timing is purely for Halloween thrills which is a big thing in America.

Haven’t played that much but so far it falls in the “interesting” category where I expected it to be.

It was always going to be an H.R Giger meets TOOL wet dream.

I played the first level of Scorn and it is a very strange game, some puzzles that are not too difficult but not the game I expected.

Also played a bit but geez I don't know what's going on, very atmospheric and dark, I never thought I would play these types of games but being on GP I thought I'd give it a go. I think I will play a bit more later.

GP got me playing genres I would never have played.

Closed it after 30 minutes. I don’t mind puzzle solving but wtf is happening.

With the 3-4 hours a week I get to game, I wanna enjoy and even Dark Souls scratch’s that itch.

I couldn't play this game...

Started A Plague Tale Requiem...

About 45 mins in and I'm hooked, looks stunning, plays beautifully, doesn't mess around with long intros etc throws you straight into the thick of things together with the suspense.

If it stays this way, will definitely finish this one.

TLDR

If the acquisition is denied, it essentially forces Microsoft to spend that money on something else, which would logically be aggressively pursuing exclusive partnerships and stakes in gaming companies.

They said the CMA is virtually saying that Sony is operating the way things should be done, essentially forcing Microsoft to do the same, should the deal fall through.

^ And it works like a charm.

My Xbox now plays PS2 games better than a PS2 or even a PS5.
So what is the link for the Series X? Also does it just install? I've still got bioses for PS2 on my PC so won't need to download those, does it do anything special to the USB stick?

Did not use the link but I installed mine locally:
via Dev mode as I have a dev account.
Does nothing to USB. Used a 120Gig USB SSD that I had lying around. Just copy games to a "PS2 Roms" folder and my bios's to "PS2 Bios" one.
link them in XBSX2 to USB, discover games and run em.

Aah, cause I'm wondering if this needs to be on a dev Xbox

As far as I understand the top video link doesn't need dev mode, as the user published it through official Microsoft store.

I suspect it will be taken down, as soon as someone makes some noise, so opted for dev mode method instead.

Yup recently even games I had installed on my Xbox from the old days of Arcade stopped working, hell even Hexic stopped :-( so yup seems like even if it's installed they can remove functionality which is annoying.
