Volume is set by the source. The headphones have a volume control, but most of the time it's soft because the volume on the source device is low...

You have to fight BS with BS...

They do "own" the high-end market, by paying 3rd parties not to make Xbox variants or by paying to block GamePass deals, but not 98%, pretty sure that number was thumb sucked.

Microsoft claimed 70% globally and In Japan, it is 96%

Maybe she added 2% for Japan?

High-end in this instance refers to PS and XB only, I guess Nintendo doesn't exist :) Sony is ahead because they release good-ass games, and because Don Mattick and his merry band of turds screwed the pooch while they basically had the lead during the 360 era.

They didn't release good-ass games on their own though, did they? They bought up studios like Naughty Dog, who release good-ass games. And pay for games to be exclusive to their platform. It's behaviour that dates back to the 90s, so why is it now suddenly an issue when their competitor does what they've been doing?

MS at least extended an olive branch by committing to not making CoD an exclusive. But what Sony is kakking themselves over is that their players will have to pay for it, whereas it'll be on GP upon release...

I would not really call Nintendo high-end, sure it shares some games but those games are not even close in quality to the other 2.

If it was only that I would give it to them, and yes they do make good games that's why I also own a PS5 same goes for Nintendo and why I own a Switch, but paying 3rd parties to not make games for your competitor is sht.

For me all 3 make great games and I don't like exclusives but can understand if you make a game for your own ecosystem. Paying someone to actively block competition is just dirty. If you think there is nothing wrong with that you are a hypocrite. Microsoft is waaay bigger than Sony so can you imagine the landscape if they follow the same tactic?

Also agree that Microsoft f'ed up big time with Xbox "TV" release. They were ahead with other visions re digital IP and online gaming but they paid a big price for that. Personally, I am actually glad they got burned cause it gave us backward compatibility and GamePass as a result.

Not my point, and who said it's an issue? It's a strategy that works, hence why MS is doing the same thing - as they historically have done as well.

I was merely saying "by paying 3rd parties not to make Xbox variants or by paying to block GamePass deals" was not the main attribute for their success

Well, Sony use to pay Activision for exclusive content on COD, something Microsoft did back in the 360 days so yeah both is guilty of that ****. :D
