Nothing new. Xbox in a similar vein would not release any info re Xbox Series blah to MBL studio prior to its launch.
Honestly, I hope Microsoft loses the deal and we can get over this crap now.
Microsoft should just use the $70 billion to buy exclusive rights for Gamepass and call it a day.
Edit: Like I said before, only reason I supported the deal was to get Diablo in Gamepass and that ship sailed.

While I still hope that the deal goes through, mainly because I hold Activision stock, I have come to terms with it flopping and me holding onto some Activision bags in the near future. Something about what's happening now led me to believe that it's pretty much over, but honestly the articles and tweets I read to try make sense of it all were confusing and I don't understand a lot of the legal mambojambo.
In saying that, I hope it drags on for a few days so we can get some juicy deets out of this courtcase. I find that quite exciting.

USER INTERFACE
The ‘Starting Gear’ tutorial now displays for new Heroes when joining a friend’s campaign
ACCESSIBILITY
Screen narration now narrates in the following states:
All players have left the Lobby
Players have been kicked from the game
Loading screen status
GAMEPLAY
Fixed an issue where interacting with certain Psychic Echoes would prevent them from playing again during a session
Fixed an issue where successfully destroying a Nest was not awarding XP in single player sessions
Also fixed an issue where successfully destroying a Nest was not increasing the Rook Storm meter
COMBAT
Fixed an issue where certain Hero Abilities would prevent players from being able to stake the Black Sun
AI/NPC
Fixed an issue where Vampires would not correctly pursue players after teleporting in rapid succession
MULTIPLAYER
Nest Characteristics now correctly display the variation rolled for the encounter
PERFORMANCE & STABILITY
General improvements to game stability and save functionality

They make a version for PS and would need info about the console.
They did not supply a PS5 version to M$ so the PS4 version is on the PS5.

There's a lot of good stuff in that verge timeline.
Seems like the FTC is bought and paid for by Sony. Their line of questioning is constantly whether x or y would be coming to PS. Judge is having none of it.
Spencer says they've been forced to do deals like this because Sony is constantly buying exclusivity from 3rd parties, which excludes them from competing as third placed in the console race.
The arguments made by the FTC really don't look very convincing. Especially since they're not addressing why PS (as first place) is allowed exclusivity but MS (in third place) isn't...

Yeah the whole thing is getting more and more interesting and/or dodgy the further it goes along.
The only thing worth a mention is that Microsoft point a finger at Sony for no native PS5 version…but such a thing doesn’t exist on Xbox Series either.
Well that is just not cricket. Don't let the developers have access to the system and them cry foul about getting an inferior version.
What I can't understand is why will Jim Ryan testify in this case? Of course $ony is going to say the acquisition is bad.

This all seems crazy to me, but Phil did a great job explaining to the FTC lawyer the difference in buying exclusivity and an acquisition for $70 billion.

What I find more interesting is the speculation that Microsoft bought ID/Bethesda cause Phill got wind that Sony was making deals for 1 year exclusive to Starfield similar to what they did with Deadfall and Ghostwire Tokyo.
When they heard that they went "None of that" and bought the Company
In a similar vein, one could argue that Sony was in the works for some exclusivity around COD?? and that is why they so pissed that Microsoft went and bought that 2.
I cant put it past them by looking at Final Fantasy, Silent hill 2 and and....

Square Enix (SE) has already said how these deals come to pass. They offer the games to all platforms and take the best deal. Sony provides them with more money and engineer support, nothing has ever stopped MS from forking out more to get a deal. MS also bought timed exclusivity for Tomb Raider from SE back in the day. SE probably lost a ton of money on it and soured their relationship though

Not saying they are the good guys in that aspect, I mean Microsoft was the 1st to buy exclusive rights in CoD back in the day for example.
That being said when Microsft buys exclusive rights you can still get it on PC. When Sony does it, its console only <-- and that is the part I see as a negative.

It's not? It comes to PC after a while. For Sony PS is their main platform, so it makes sense to prioritise that in a deal.
