I have no issue with that. MS themselves has defended exclusivity in court this past week, saying it's easier to target a smaller amount of platforms. Does the same not hold true for developers targeting PS5 just because it's for Sony? :/

Not sure if it works with the vanilla Xbox one. But you're paying for 3 years of Gold irrespective, you may as well get it converted to Ultimate...

Yes, but as mentioned you only paying for gold, so no extra cost. Also note that Ultimate include EA Play that is not in Vanilla GamePass Xbox, so makes no sense not to.

Saw that but supplier is always out of stock, and I don't think that is the genuine retail price. Also saw another version coming to market not from Seagate, but don't know when those will hit our shores, given the Seagate one is always out of stock.

Sell the S and buy a Series X. Its what I did and its literally cheaper than buying an expansion card.
