Xbox Series X / S

2 free games, even if it's Xbox One games...

Amazon has the same special.
Not worth it for two old games Ive already put 500 hours in each. I don't see any stand alone consoles anyway. What is the usual price of these without games?

That is the price, hence the free games.

So is that memory expansion card for series consoles out of stock everywhere as well
I just purchased the 1TB Seagate Expansion card off Amazon (US store) for about 2.9K including import fees as apposed to paying 5.7K on Takealot for the same thing. Yes, the delivery does take about a week - but more than worth it!

Nice price. Local pricing seems to have dropped, with stock available from R3400 at firstshop, and listed for as low as R3033 from wootware. Still feels overpriced for what it is, but we are getting there

First time in a long time, consoles prices go up instead of down, I mean the Series X and S is 5 years old this year and yet it really doesn't feel like it has had much.

Erm

Just because it wasn't exclusive doesn't mean they didn't have any games.
I've been seeing these roadmaps ever since I can remember. But it doesn't seem to translate into anything as spectacular.

If the games aren't being delayed, it's released with bugs, or cancelled outright. This whole generation just seems to be a massive disappointment, despite the consoles having so much promise. Again dev timelines to blame...

Yup game time lines are now longer than 2 console generations by the looks of it. Perhaps devs need to start bringing out smaller games, or try keep things going so people don't loose interest. This and honestly even the previous generation were like eh if you think about it.
