Well I know that Microsoft halted Xbox OS handheld to focus on Windows gaming the moment the vid came out about how hard Steam OS kill WIndows in gaming on handhelds.

So my guess is in order to compete against SteamOS they gonna rivel it with a Windows version.

I'm not in the market for a handheld, especially not at that rumoured pricing, but there is a definite appeal to be able to play Sony PC titles on a Xbox device. A bit of Spiderman, God of War and Horizon sounds nice, along with all of Steam, and those freebies on the Epic Store.

I know, it's all on PC, but still...

However so far don't think it has horde (co-op vs PVE) mode, which is my jam but will jump back into multiplayer side of things.

No $10 upgrade fee required

Apparently if you have the disc version, people are reporting they getting the free upgrade codes.

It's for those that had the Ultimate edition :-). Would be nice to play the reloaded, I finished the first one with a friend from that era, finished Ultimate edition with a friend from that time and with Reloaded I can play with my son as he will actually be able to do something :-). When ultimate came out he was 3.

I started WoW round the time it dropped so kinda explains the lack of gameplay. 2006-2012 was a blur.

Sadly looking at my battle.net, I see some of my old guildies are still addicted.

Yeah had a friend who started WoW in 2006, last time I spoke to him 5 years ago he was still playing WoW. He'd retire from it get a console but sell it and go back to WoW

  1. Register and get 3 x 12 months Core from CJS-CDkeys. Yes they're legit. The India code was cheapest for me, so I got that. Worked out to ~R490 each.
  2. I used Paypal to check out just to be safe.
  3. After you buy it, go to the Autokey section on their site to get the codes.
  4. Switch on your VPN on your PC/phone and select India (or whichever country you chose)
  5. Go to redeem.microsoft.com and enter your 3 codes to redeem them.
  6. The usual process from here on your Xbox. Sign up for one month GPU and it converts at 2:1.
The important part is to redeem it on Microsoft's site via VPN for the country you bought the code for. Everything else stays the same.

R1,500 + R199 to upgrade for 19 months GPU...

Does this still work? I've read that MS has clamped down on the use of cheap Indian codes outside of India (even with using VPNs).

I'm looking for the cheapest way to get Gamepass as my sub expires next week. Would appreciate some advice.
