Btw try setting your input on the tv to game mode. Also, a bit obvious and I'm sure you did this, but check that your Xbox is connected to the hdmi 2.1 port. Might help enable some of the tick boxes...

All enabled except the Dolby Vision 120 which apparently is the case at the moment.
I just followed the hdtvtest YouTube video on optimal settings. Guy seems knowledgeable and I am more than happy with the results.

still really digging gears 5. It’s really a complete package. Sound, visuals, gameplay, story. Excellent stuff.

I also just saw digital foundry’s Control Ultimate Edition revisit. Oh man, it looks really good. pity only the standard unenhanced version is on game pass.

I agree with you on gears 5. It's a really good game and I was quite surprised. I found the early ones quite tedious. Gears 1 i never finished - got bored.

Watched some recap video on YouTube to catch up on the story, then started with gears 4 when I got my series X. I wasn't blown away - it was ok. After that I played 5.

People also raved about the dlc for gears 5. I think it set my expectations too high. It was also ok, but far from brilliant, but the end was a big meh. Very pretty though.

I also played the gamepass version of control. I can't say the game blew my socks off. I don't feel like I'm missing out with the back compat version with the exception of being stuck on 30FPS. I much preferred Remedy's earlier game; Quantum Break. That was boss.

Only playing games on PS3 (Cause retro and its in my bedroom so works for winter nights)
PS4 haven't been used in past 2 months
Xbox well then there is bloody Xbox, that even with its "Free" Games via GamePass gets me to spend $$$ cause of em Play for Free weekends with bloody nice specials.

Installed Chaosbane on Friday, started playing on Saterday morning, came Sunday night and I find my wallet suddenly feeling R200 lighter :D
 
i bought the play and charge kit from ebucks and they sent me the new one with a usb c

my controllers are with the older mini usb

will it still work ...i didnt even try it so i said i will ask before using it

Honestly thinking of doing the same with my Switch. Only thing holding me back is if a new exclusive IP comes out, say a new Mario game that is as awesome as Odyssey was (I also think I got my switch banned :cautious: )


How did you find Outriders?

Nice

I wanted to get this green one since seeing it being released around June this year, a few months ago.

I had a red Xbox One controller, so I passed by the red Series controller and went for the blue one when I got my Series X console.
