Xbox Series X / S

Man why don't we have any portable monitors for the Series S in SA, I'd buy one and an S just so I could just use carry it with me.

so i was in toys r us and my kids also want the switch

i saw the price of games and im like no thank you

il rather buy them a new tv and xbox for the other room

Nintendo Game prices = Nintendo games only.
3rd Party game prices = Xbox's 3rd party game prices.

That I do agree physical games is nasty but its cartridges not DVD's and such.

3rd party is waaaay better to buy Digital.
 
The issue with the monitor is it doesn't give you true portability. You can't play on longs trip etc., you still need mains for the Xbox.

If Sony released another PSP on the other hand (and it was actually decent)...

No but they do have retro games on Nintendo Online Ex :p
Ideal for something that's Mobile.

PS: and I do suspect me and the Mrs gonna be fighting on who gets to play in bed this winter....

Eh, I'll find another means to play a mobile retro game... Actually starts with an R and has O in it as well.

Yeah, actually have an Anbernic & 1000's of ROM's for retro so did not subscribe either.
I do love me some Diablo in bed though.

I do believe if we had Steam deck in SA selling for a proper price it would rock.

Yeah a Steamdeck or a portable Series S :-). Cause then I'd be playing Civ 6 in bed and not Civ Revolution 2.

I only have Diablo 2 and 3 on Xbox :). Used to have Diablo 2 on PC but like when it was released.
I have a few games I've got on multiplatform, Xcom on 360, PC and Android, Minecraft across anything that can play it, Civ 6 :-). Mechwarrior 5
 
REDFALL running at a locked 30fps on both X and S in a quality mode. And this for a game being released in a few weeks!!

60fps to be released in a patch later...

Big L by Microsoft on this one, to me.

Not a techie but this just reeks of being unoptimized and being rushed to get it out in the 12 months period as stated at last year's June showcase.

Will most probably play the game once the patch releases, but in my opinion they should've just delayed it

My expectations for this game so far have been met.

Looking at the games so far I suspect the 60FPS 4K quality is reserved for the "Pro" versions of the consoles.
Both PS5 and Series X seem to hit quality 30fps 4K but drop res when they go for 60+fps.
