xbox which one...

As I sit here in what must be the country's biggest "pleb central" when it comes to gaming, the success of the Wii becomes blatantly obvious. These technopeasants are the real buyers of the Wii. They buy Wii's because it looks cute and kiddy, but not one of them actually plays it. They are there simply there to shut the kids up. 9/10 haven't played with it in months and the only guy that does plays "crossbow training" once a week or so. Every single one of them thinks it was a waste of money.

have you met Larch? he claims to play 5 hours of Wii every day... EVERY DAY.

i'm one of those 9/10 guys, although when people come over it sure is fun for a short while. last game i played was guitar hero (2 months ago), but the xbox one looks a lot prettier.

I'm sure there are guys who can play Mario and Zelda over and over again and love it. Most people I know need a reasonably steady stream of new experiences and that means either new content or Online.

yup, likewise. gimme new stuff or stuff off. and theres nothing new worthwhile on the wii (but i haven't tried Pii Pii Brothers :D ). hence the immense urge to sell a kidney for the xbox.

yes, and also prophecy. don't get me wrong, larch is a boon to the SA Wii community, and his previews/reviews are awesome, well presented and very informative, but 5 hours a day on the Wii takes SERIOUS dedication. i can play 5 hours of battlefield (2 please) straight though, but not Mario

nope, gonna keep the wii, you never know, and will still jam guitar hero on it
 
Hey don't let me stop you, sounds like a fab idea. Some guys are just cost constrained.

bleh, probably not, too much going on on screen for the wii to handle i reckon, but it does suite the wii perfectly with regards to the "6 million addons" requirement.

knowing nintendo, they will make it work by castrating the game and then port it over to the bloody DS as well
 
I sold mine very quickly - I saw that the direction that the Wii was going to was not really where I saw myself going as a gamer.
E3 confirmed that when there was no serious games released and they anounced Wii Sports 2!!!!! :sick:

OMG you xbots are so blinkered by M$'s crap. Of course the Wii is getting GHWT just like the ps2 is. The developers want a big audience and the ps2 and wii are yet to be matched.

This would have been funny if I didnt know that you are being serious.
If you take the time to actually read the thread BEFORE post, you would have realised that eye suc does not own a 360 but a Wii!!!

So N00b, the next time you intend to spout stupidity, at least take the time to make it interesting.

I've got a wii. Not very happy due to the constant stream of crap coming out for it. I expected better, or should have known better. I wanted a change from sitting at my PC playing games with a keyboard, wondering why my new 1 month old graphics card can't run anything.

Is the 360 the answer to my gaming problems, I've gathered the Pro is the one to buy? I'm not a hardcore gamer, and I'm not a frikin' child either Nintendo! I've played all the good Ninty games and I feel robbed as my Wii is not even 1 year old... I've not touched the damn thing in weeks.

Yeah Pro's the ticket, you can't really go wrong with it.

360's got a ton of great games out already and more on the horizon, even if you're looking for the more mainstream type thing, they're making a big move into social games, like Scene It, LIPS etc to complement the stellar "hardcore" catalogue.
