xbox which one...

I've yet to get into live, I'm all wireless here so trying to figure a cheap way to hook up the xbox so I can get Castle Crashers!

COD4 has been awesome, but the single player campaign is very short.

ja, checking the resale value of the wii now... so much more i can do with the money than with that white elephant. imagine all the xbox games i can buy with the wii sale!!! might just get me my live gold early! was thinking about xmas

anyway, how do i get my free month on gold? keep reading about it, but can't find the "switch" anywhere. is it a simple process?

to get the free month of live gold, just select the option "Join Xbox Live" when you're not signed in or when you're signed into a local only account.
after filling in all your details, you get to choose which account type you want. select the silver account which is free. after you select that, you will be notified that you qualify for a free gold sub for a month. easy peasy.

also, what i have realised is that the email you use to sign up doesn't even have to exist as theres no confirmation needed so you can pretty much have live gold for free forever if you're willing to lose your gamertag every month.

But you also lose all your friends and gamerscore, and it totally pisses everyone off when we have to keep re-adding you ;)

DOH!!! i created my live silver account already :/ did this the day before picking up the box. my silver account is the one currently being used, so i will just poke around and see what is cooking there... i wanna do some halo online hehe (ohhhh the rapage, i cant even point poor master chief in the general direction of enemies)

gonna add you now sir!

That's not a problem, then just do the reverse, create a new Live Silver account on your 360 and play with it for a month, when the times up and you buy subs, just put them on your proper account.

I went looking for Tradestation at the Spar in Parklands and could not find it in the mass of shops. Am I looking in the right place?

hahaha, i went looking shortly after i made my last post here, but i also couldn't find it. next to the spar??? geezzzz, i asked all the security guards i could find, and some shop owners, nobody knew anything about it.

just to clarify: it would be the spar opposite from The Edge (across the road of course)?

in any case, i found all the second hand games i need for this season on forums, since I tried and failed to locate their shop. february i will go check again perhaps :)

After a tip off from a mate I had my boet buy me the Xbox360 pro (60gb hdd, wifi controller, headset , hdtv cables etc.) for R1999 at a special launch.

Now I can finally play Fable2 !!! (and then sell the xbox again :p)

Whoops, Ok I'll go see if I can find it and let you know! I won't blame you if i don't! :D I've not had the chance to cross the road from Spar to search .
