but i cany put a 7900gt with a 7900gtx or 7800gt???? right???

Only the same card typ eg. 7900GT with a 7900GT, not a 7900 with an 7800.

My cards aren't GTX's they are GT but with xfx they clasify them as extreme and XXX.

So this card will fit for you.

Anyway, have to move away from the PC so if U wanna talk business or for more info phone me on 0834685567

Thanks

1) Same Manufaturer ( bfg, gigacrap, loltek, gayward, xfxxx, etc)

I have to disagree with you on this Jeeva, it has been proven over and over that different makes of say a 7900GT can be used in Sli.

yeah as long as you are using the latest drivers, different cards by different manufacturers will work in SLi. As long as they are using the SAME chipset

I've done SLi MANY times, and I can tell you that if you use different manufacturers you are looking for trouble. Next time you want to go out and spend R3000 on a new video card in the hope that they will be compatible...do it.

Just go with what Jeeva said and you will have FAR LESS hassles. Then again... you can try something different and see what happens. Its your R3000 ;)

Yeah, i would also go with what jeva said, you're safer that way.

HOWEVER, i've seen loads of guys with say, a Gigabyte card, and a leadtek card in SLI, works perfectly. Even if one is factory overclocked and the other isn't.

Im running two different makes 7900GTX's, one is BFG and the other is XFX.

Works like dynamite!

Yeah, and i can almost guarantee that they are not running at the same clock speeds, are the Rendier?

All I can say is that I bought a 6600GT a week ago and it failed ... had to have it swopped out ... not overclocked or anything....

ive used gigabyte, asus and chaintech 6600GTs in SLi at different times and never had a problem.

geforce 7600gt any good ? i see its for sale for R 1999 at computersonly
