I haven't tried Xplor but Solid explorer is one of the best file managers for Android. I use it on my phone and I have linked my Dropbox account to it so I can easily send stuff to the Mibox via Dropbox.

I have been using Kodi for the last 10 years. My setup is a windows 10 box with a Rii remote. I didn't really consider a box TV device until now. I'm very keen on getting the Xiaomi Mi box. A few questions before i commit..

- Prices are currently high with no known specials on this box. Im considering buying from Aliexpress or Gearbest. Has anyone done this route and any custom issues?Waiting period?

- Are there any fakes on the market? I notice a Chinese and international version with the Chinese being considerably cheaper.

- Are there different models to this device?

- My setup is normally fully customised Kodi with addons and RD. Is this possible with this box?

- Are there any other boxes that can be recommended. I will mainly be using it for Kodi, sometimes DSTV and a bit of Terrarium.

Sorry about the list of questions but need to spend my money well

Hey Guys, I seem to be having issues casting from my Macbook Air to the Mi Box. When I select the cast option in Google Chrome the video plays on the box however the colors are weird and the video seems to have a ghosting effect. Once I make the video fullscreen there seems to be a green line (Bar) on the left side of the screen from the top to the bottom.

Can someone please help me? Bought from Takealot last Friday.

I think the extra R400 is worth more than anxiety on whether will you receive your order

This is what my screen looks like when I cast from a website to the box. Found this picture very similar to mine except there is no green line on the left side of the screen. Does this happen on your Box as well when casting from chrome? RjfQG42YoZcauRkMguxcihhKImCQ0zpwVV-OrO85qJM.jpg

I had this too when I tested casting from Chrome. I have not done any further casting from Chrome beyond just testing it out, so I haven't made more than a cursory effort at resolving it. I searched briefly at the time and didn't find a solution.

That sucks. Main reason i purchased it was for the built in chromecast feature.
