Once your order hits your incredible connection profile, the order gets a new order number (which is completely different to the one in the first email or the last screen of the WeChat purchase). It also fixed my notification issue. Phone is running beautifully. This had to be the bargain of the century, even @ full price (+-R4000) this hone is still a bargain.
Its sturdy, the build quality is excellent, the screen is excellent. the finger print scanner is excellent, the battery is unbelievable. Not to mention its a real looker.
I will be supporting Redmi going forward.

My email with the firm order number from IC came 24hrs after I ordered the phone via WeChat. As has been mentioned, there is manual capturing involved between the WeChat order and getting it into the IC system for shipping

I am sure that the Wechat wallet has your ID number so I doubt thats a good idea

I ordered 3 items on Tuesday and 2 are showing(also received emails for the 2 from IC) but the last item is missing. How do you track the order if it's not showing in your IC account?

I havent personally done the update but from reading comments online, the battery life has improved.
