Xiaomi Note 3 now R1899

Thanks, tried it and the biggest stuff it found was 45MB of app data....

I would venture a guess and say its Google and other app updates.

Simple explanation:
When phone has Google or other apps in the system partition, App store can not access them so you end up with double the space for every system app that gets updated via the App store on the phone. In MIUI 7 and 8.2 Dev you can disable and clean the cache on the ones you dont want in order to clear space.

Updated and have 500mb more free space thank *****.

Missing the vibration on finger unlock already :(

Empty gallery, Facebook lite, Messenger lite, empty downloads and all other media deleted. Only sitting on 1.7GB storage free.

How much does everyone have free?

Erm, After some clean-up about 51Gig /Me Hides

SD Card doesn't count. I was also referring to the 16GB version per the thread title

Ooooh, so I guess 64gig versions dont count then either :D

Edit: As a side note, about 3 of the 13 gig on my phone is MP3's so in essence if I had a a 16gig version I would have more space than you and thats with my apps like Sygic that has SA maps downloaded.

Nothing in thread title about 16GB? Got the 32GB version. Seem to be a lot more free ram. Used to be around 1.2, now 1.7-1.8

If your MIUI 8.2 is based on android 6+ can you not add a micro SD and merge it with the internal storage?

The Xiaomi Note 3 that was R1899 was 16GB. And gold.

We are nice so we allow you fancier ones in here too...
